Job summary

FullStack seeks a DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join our talent network for flexible, project-based development work. You will integrate into our client's team and work alongside designers and engineers on a daily basis to deliver reliable infrastructure and scalable CI/CD pipelines.

Strong background in Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and database tooling is required, plus hands-on experience with IaC and containerization. Advanced English and a relevant degree complete the profile.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Strong Linux-based infrastructure knowledge, shell scripting, server maintenance, patching, security, and AD integration.
• Experience with database configuration and troubleshooting (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Scripting with Python or Bash.
• Experience building/running Java apps with Maven/Gradle/Spring; Node.js knowledge.
• IaC and automation tools such as Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation/Puppet/Chef across cloud and local data centers.
• Containerization with Docker, artifact management (Artifactory), CI/CD (GitLab Pipelines).
• Monitoring/logging tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, or equivalents.
• Process-oriented documentation and Git version control; continuous delivery practices.
• AWS DevOps certification is a plus.
• Ability to own work and contribute to libraries as needed.
• CI/CD of applications and strong attention to detail.
• Experience on Agile/Scrum teams; large, complex systems work.

Responsibilities

• Integrate directly into the client's team and collaborate with designers and engineers daily.
• Contribute to the design, deployment, and operation of CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
• Maintain Linux servers, scripting, patching, security, and AD domain integration.
• Assist with monitoring, logging, and performance optimization of systems.

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of professional DevOps or Systems Engineering experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• Solid background in Linux-based infrastructure, shell scripting, server maintenance, patching, security, and integrating Linux servers into Microsoft AD domains.
• Hands-on experience with database configuration, management, and troubleshooting (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Skilled in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Practical experience building and running Java applications using Maven, Gradle, and Spring tooling, alongside knowledge of Node.js environments.
• Deep knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Puppet, or Chef across cloud and local datacenters.
• Proven experience with containerization (Docker), artifact management (Artifactory), and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab Pipelines).
• Demonstrated experience with monitoring and logging utilities such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or equivalent tools.
• Strong history of process-oriented documentation, version control using Git, and continuous delivery practices.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
