A leading global energy firm based in Buenos Aires is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to generate accurate sales forecasts and work closely with Sales and Marketing. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience and a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Excellent analytical skills and experience with SAP are preferred. We are currently looking for supply chain planners to join our new organization in Buenos Aires!

In the Finished Lubes and Base stocks organization we obsess over the customer and brand experience, looking to deliver an unrivaled customer experience and maximize earnings. From the Supply and Demand organization we have a unique opportunity to push towards this goal.

What role you will play in our team

Generate an accurate sales forecast that serve as base for EM Supply Chain, playing a key role as the strategic link between Sales, Marketing, and Supply

What you will do
  • Generate a reliable forecast that depends on the quality of sales history, collaborative Market Intelligence, and optimal algorithm parameters in the system.
  • Provide a timely forecast to Supply to ensure that the right product is in the right place at the right time to meet customer orders.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to understand changing customer needs and market dynamics.
  • Maintain historical demand information.
  • Follow a scripted Demand Planning Monthly Cycle that aligns with industry best practice.
  • Leverage system tools to identify opportunities for forecast improvements.
  • Monitors system data quality and integrity and fixes data related issues.
  • Measures forecast performance and adjusts their processes in order to drive long‑term improvement.
  • Leads Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Meetings.
About you
  • College Degree (Preferred: Industrial Engineer; Secondary Preference: Business, or Other Engineering degree)
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar positions
  • Demonstrate sound business judgment, decision making skills, and customer focus.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to multi‑task and prioritize work load.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of overall network strategy, supply/demand balance, and plant operating constraints.
  • Ability to drive functional excellence through a willingness to aggressively pursue new and creative approaches to resolve problems.
  • Interface effectively with other functions, collaborative
  • APICS CPIM Certification.
  • SAP Knowledge.
  • Ability to build and execute queries, databases, and spreadsheet
  • Proactive and curious for learning.
