Job summary

Revolut is seeking an innovative Data Protection Officer to join the second line of defence. You will apply your expertise in data protection compliance to design, lead, and improve oversight and compliance across the organisation.

You will maintain policies, oversee risk management, and provide advisory support to both 2LoD and 1LoD teams while developing training programs for staff and building dashboards to inform governance decisions.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data protection.
• Understanding of innovative financial services and banking products.
• Knowledge of data protection frameworks and risk management in financial organisations.
• Familiarity with global data protection requirements.
• Understanding of industry-wide data protection practices and trends.
• Expertise in identifying data risks and advising on mitigations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication with multiple teams.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and updating data protection policies across operations and product lines.
• Overseeing identification and resolution of data protection risks.
• Providing 2LoD advisory to business teams and 1LoD on processes and controls.
• Developing and supporting data protection training and awareness programs.
• Monitoring and reporting risk trends to inform senior management.
