Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Bariloche, Argentina, is hiring a data engineer to build and optimize data pipelines, design Snowflake tables, and enhance data observability.

You will create dashboards and workflows delivering actionable insights and work with stakeholders to ensure project transparency and success. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in data modeling (Kimball), strong SQL and Python, plus experience with Airflow, DBT, Tableau, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data modeling principles, especially Kimball.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses.
• Strong proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines using Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Hands-on experience using DBT for data transformation, modeling, and testing.
• Strong experience consuming APIs and integrating data with Snowflake.
• Ability to develop simple Tableau dashboards.
• Proficiency in GitLab CI/CD workflows for continuous integration and deployment.
• Familiarity with AWS services, especially S3.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Innovative and productivity-driven mindset – willingness to improve and automate processes.
• Ability to adapt to business needs and stakeholder requirements.
• Ability to communicate work clearly.

Responsibilities
