Sharp Brains is seeking experienced Data Center Engineer, Network Field Engineer, or IT Technician to support our client environments. You will handle hardware/software issues, assist with network devices, and contribute to data center operations across on-site sites.

The role requires 2–5 years of IT support experience, a readiness to complete Nutanix training, and the ability to work independently on dispatch-based projects with no guaranteed hours. Excellent customer service is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical support for PCs, laptops, monitors, printers, projectors, televisions, phones, cabling, peripherals, and site security equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic connectivity issues while ensuring excellent customer service.
• Communicate effectively with end users and stakeholders, including preparing technical reports and participating in information-gathering workshops.
• Work independently on medium-complexity support tasks while collaborating with cross-functional and remote technical teams.
• Support data center operations and assist with application infrastructure maintenance.
• Troubleshoot basic network issues and assist with the administration of switches, routers, and firewalls under the guidance of the Nutanix Remote Resolver Team.
• Assist with backup systems, tape infrastructure, and Microsoft Exchange environments.
• Support the configuration of network devices, including routers and switches, following established procedures and guidance.
• Assist with the integration and customization of hardware components within operating systems and network environments.
• Maintain accurate documentation of incidents, resolutions, and technical activities.
• Demonstrate sound technical judgment while following defined processes, procedures, and best practices.

About the Company

Qualifications

• Candidates should have 2–5 years of relevant IT support experience in desktop support, infrastructure support, or field services.

Training Requirement

Candidates are required to complete a 1-hour online training course covering the basic Nutanix hardware replacement process before being assigned to customer sites. The training includes a 20-question assessment, and a minimum 90% passing score is required to become a Qualified Technician. Only technicians who have successfully completed the training and certification will be eligible for deployment.

Dispatch Position

This is a dispatch-based, on-demand position, meaning you will only be assigned work when a project or customer request is available. There are no guaranteed working hours or fixed monthly assignments.
