AgileEngine is seeking an Analyst Subscriptions and Pricing to analyze subscription and promotional performance, explain business trends, and provide actionable insights that support revenue management decisions.

You will develop analytical and reporting databases, produce monthly financial reports, and build dashboards to empower stakeholders with information for decision-making and ROI assessment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SQL with CTEs, window functions, date/time functions.
• Translate analyses into executive-level insights and ROI.
• Fluent/business-level English (written and verbal).
• College degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Economics, OR, CS, or equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience with independent project ownership (Senior Analyst).
• Strong communication to explain business implications of data visuals.

Responsabilités

• Develop analytical and reporting tables for subscription and promos performance tracking.
• Produce monthly financial reports and conduct variance analysis.
• Create dashboards in Tableau to summarize key metrics for stakeholders.
• Apply quantitative analysis to understand customer behavior and promo impact.
• Model discount scenarios to support revenue management strategies.
• Ensure data quality, monitor for anomalies, and resolve issues.
• Handle ad hoc requests from Finance, Marketing, Distribution, Product, etc.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Analyst Subscriptions and Pricing to analyze subscription and promotional performance, explain business trends, and provide actionable insights that support revenue management decisions.

MUST HAVES

• SQL proficiency: Hands-on experience with CTEs, window functions, and date and time functions.
• Data storytelling and strategic communication: Translating complex analytical outputs into actionable C-suite insights, executive presentations, and quantifiable ROI.
• Fluent/business-level English (written and verbal).
• College degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience with independent project ownership for the Senior Analyst level.
• Strong communication skills for explaining the business implications of data analysis and visualizations.
• Thrives in small fast-paced environments with high individual accountability; capable of driving priorities to the finish line independently while exercising sound judgment on when to expand.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Snowflake experience, although exposure to any database (even MS Access) is acceptable.
• Tableau experience, although exposure to any BI platform works.
• Familiarity with database models, transforming raw columnar data, and loading large datasets.
• Previous work experience with subscription and promotional offers data analysis is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Develop analytical and reporting database tables to facilitate subscription and promotional offers performance tracking through efficient querying of large databases.
• Produce and maintain critical monthly financial reports, conducting variance analysis to resolve complex anomalies and provide clear explanations.
• Build reports and Tableau dashboards summarizing pertinent metrics and equipping various stakeholders with information for decision-making.
• Apply quantitative analysis on complex data to support the Insights team in efforts to understand customer behavior and impact of promotional offers.
• Support revenue management strategies by modeling discount strategies and analyzing subscriber retention and LTV.
• Ensure data accuracy through conscientious data collection and monitoring, development and execution of quality control processes, investigation and resolution of anomalies.
• Respond to a wide variety of ad hoc requests from Finance, Marketing, Distribution, Product, etc. in a timely and accurate manner.
• Work closely with other members of the Insights & Analytics team to incorporate marketing and content data, creating a holistic understanding of customers and how they interact with our products.
