Job summary

Chevron Corporation in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero) seeks a Contracts Advisor to support the Category Management & Contracting (CM&C) organization. You will help draft, negotiate, and execute contracts, manage supplier relationships, and analyze spend to improve procurement practices.

The role requires experience in contracting and category management, advanced English, and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or Engineering. Local candidates only; relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in contracting and/or category management.
• Experience creating, renewing and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
• Advanced English.
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support contracting requests for various operating companies across Chevron.
• Develops annual Category Plan, Contracting Plan and cost improvement targets.
• Review, analyze, redline, and prepare contracts, amendments, SOWs.
• Negotiate contracts with new and existing suppliers and coordinate with legal teams.
• Identify and drive toward common policies to achieve lower cost and better processes.
