Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking an Associate Manager of Clinical Operations to lead a high‑performing team in a fast‑paced, regulated environment. You will coach staff, manage performance, ensure training and compliance, and collaborate with senior management on resourcing and strategy.

You will oversee onboarding, timekeeping, and professional development while driving process improvements and quality across projects, using systems like CTMS and SOPs to maintain excellence.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of relevant experience in clinical operations or trial management.
• 1+ year of leadership responsibility or people management.
• Strong knowledge of ICH/GCP and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to lead, train, and coach cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Manages staff, providing coaching, mentorship and work direction.
• Conducts regular performance appraisals and career discussions with staff.
• Interviews, recruits and selects staff and leads onboarding programs.
• Ensures training records, CVs, and experience profiles are up to date.
• Supports allocation activities and collaborates with project leads to optimize delivery.
• Delivers training on SOPs, WPDs, local requirements and relevant subject matter.
• Monitors adherence to quality standards and facilitates audits as needed.
• Reviews systems (Activate, CTMS, Preclarus, Clarity) to assess metrics and project status.
• Evaluates staff performance through PAVs and skill assessments.
• Participates in process improvements and risk-based monitoring initiatives.
• Contributes to bids and procurement discussions when required.
• Collaborates with senior management on strategic planning and business development.
