Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a senior engineer to architect and deploy autonomous agent platforms, integrating AWS Bedrock AgentCore and Strands SDK to enable production launches. You will design memory and context-management systems, build MCP servers, and enhance agent reliability and cost efficiency across security boundaries.

The role requires 7+ years in production software and 2+ years deploying LLM-based agents, with advanced Python and experience with major agentic frameworks.

Qualifications

• Proven production software experience (7+ years).
• 2+ years deploying LLM-based agents into production.
• Advanced Python skills with agentic frameworks (Strands, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, or CrewAI).
• Working knowledge of AWS Bedrock AgentCore components (Runtime, Memory, Identity, Gateway, Observability).
• Strong understanding of MCP, tool use, prompt/context engineering, memory architectures, and agent evaluation approaches.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

• Lead adoption of AWS Bedrock AgentCore and the Strands Agents SDK to power agent harnesses and production launches
• Design durable long-term memory and context-management capabilities that support multi-step engagements
• Build and sustain MCP servers and tool integrations agents depend on, including recon tools, scanners, exploit primitives, and internal custom services

Requirements

• Proven production software experience (7+ years), including 2+ year deploying LLM-based agents into production
• Advanced Python skills with hands-on use of agentic frameworks such as Strands, LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, or CrewAI
• Working knowledge of AWS Bedrock AgentCore components (Runtime, Memory, Identity, Gateway, Observability) or the ability to ramp up quickly
• Strong understanding of MCP, tool use, prompt/context engineering, memory architectures, and agent evaluation approaches
• Demonstrated ability to design production-ready systems with observability, guardrails, retry logic, cost management, and security boundaries
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with application security, web pentesting, or red-teaming
• Familiarity with sandboxed code execution, browser agents, or autonomous tool orchestration
