Smart Apartment Data provides data and analytics solutions for the U.S. multifamily real estate industry. We are seeking a self-directed Business Analyst who can lead projects from start to finish and translate business information into practical recommendations.

Projects may span multiple areas of the business, so you will need to quickly learn new topics. This role combines project management and analysis, with ownership and follow-through required; no part is for juniors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in business analysis, project management, operations analysis, or a similar role.
• A track record of independently leading projects from start to finish.
• At least one recommendation leadership acted on because of your analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret business data and draw practical conclusions.
• Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets to organize and analyze information; advanced SQL or BI expertise is not required.
• Experience holding people accountable who don't report to you — chasing commitments, escalating, pushing back on scope.
• Clear and concise written and spoken English.
• Self-directed and comfortable working in a remote environment.
• Based in Latin America or Europe.
• Available Monday through Friday, 8 AM-5 PM U.S. Central Time.

Full-time | Monday-Friday, 8 AM-5 PM U.S. Central Time | USD $4,500-$5,000 monthly

Smart Apartment Data provides data and analytics solutions for the U.S. multifamily real estate industry. We're looking for a self-directed Business Analyst who can lead projects from start to finish and turn business information into clear, practical recommendations.

Projects may span multiple areas of the business, so you'll need to get up to speed on unfamiliar topics quickly. This role is equally focused on project management and data analysis. Strong ownership and follow-through are essential, but expert-level technical skills are not required.

This is equally project management and analysis. Neither half is the junior one.

Not a fit if

your work has mostly been gathering requirements, running ceremonies, maintaining dashboards, coordinating delivery, or producing reports someone else interprets. Those are real skills. They aren't this job.
