Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Data Architect specialized in the Adobe Experience Platform to unify customer data enterprise-wide. You will design RTCDP and AJO solutions, craft XDM schemas, and configure identity resolution that powers unified customer profiles.

Collaboration with marketing and analytics teams on data ingestion is central. Responsibilities include architecting robust AEP data pipelines, maintaining standardized data taxonomies, and leading data governance and privacy practices.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years in Data Architecture, MarTech, or Data Engineering.
• Hands-on with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), RTCDP, and AJO.
• Deep understanding of Experience Data Model (XDM) and JSON-based schemas.
• Strong data ingestion and integration experience (REST APIs, cloud storage, streaming).
• Experience with identity management and building unified customer profiles.
• Proficient in SQL and marketing automation concepts.
• Excellent communication translating marketing needs into tech architecture.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architectures within the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), focusing on RTCDP and AJO.
• Maintain XDM schemas to standardize data taxonomies.
• Configure batch and streaming data ingestions from various sources into AEP.
• Define identity resolution frameworks and merge policies for unified profiles.
• Collaborate with CRM/Marketing to orchestrate journeys in AJO.
• Create and manage advanced audience segments in RTCDP for activation.
• Troubleshoot data flows, ensuring quality, governance and privacy compliance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Data Architect specialized in the Adobe Experience Platform to unify customer data across the enterprise. This person architects RTCDP and AJO solutions, designs XDM schemas, and configures identity resolution frameworks that power unified customer profiles. Partnering with marketing and analytics teams on data ingestion and activation is central here.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of experience in Data Architecture, MarTech engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Proven hands-on expertise with the Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) , specifically RTCDP and Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Deep understanding of the Experience Data Model (XDM) and JSON-based schema design.
• Strong background in data ingestion (REST APIs, cloud storage connections, streaming endpoints) and data integration strategies.
• Experience with identity management, profile stitching, and building unified customer profiles.
• Proficiency in querying languages (SQL ) and an understanding of marketing automation workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate marketing objectives into technical data architectures.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

NICE TO HAVES

• Experience with other Adobe ecosystem tools (Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics).
• Previous experience migrating legacy DMP or marketing automation platforms into AEP.
• Adobe certifications in RTCDP or AJO.

• Configure data ingestion pipelines (batch and streaming) from various enterprise sources into AEP.
• Define and configure identity resolution frameworks and merge policies to build comprehensive, unified customer profiles.
• Partner with CRM and Marketing teams to build and orchestrate complex, cross-channel customer journeys in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO).
• Create and manage advanced audience segments within RTCDP for activation across various marketing destinations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize data flows, ensuring high data quality, governance, and compliance with privacy regulations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and cross-functional teams regarding AEP best practices.
