Job summary

RYZ Labs is seeking a senior Data Analyst to join our distributed team. You will analyze business and operational data to answer complex questions and support decision-making across product, marketing, and operations.

You will develop reliable metrics and analytical frameworks, ensure data sources are clearly defined and traceable, and translate findings into practical recommendations for senior stakeholders. Remote, LATAM/US-friendly team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
• 4+ years of analytics experience, incl. 3+ in data/BI roles.
• Proficient in SQL and Python for analysis, statistics, and visualization.
• Experience with large, high-volume datasets.
• Strong communication and ability to influence decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze business and operational data to answer complex questions and support decision-making.
• Develop reliable metrics and analytical frameworks, ensuring numbers are clearly defined, traceable, and supported by accurate source data.
• Partner with business stakeholders to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Build and maintain recurring analyses, dashboards, and reporting processes, with a strong focus on improving efficiency and reducing manual work.
• Identify inconsistencies, data quality issues, and misleading results, and establish reliable validation practices to prevent them from recurring.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders.
• Manage multiple analytical projects independently, prioritizing work based on business impact and urgency.
• Contribute to data governance by documenting metrics, sources, assumptions, and analytical methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Computer Science.
• 4+ years of professional experience in analytics, including 3+ years in a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Python for data analysis, statistical analysis, and visualization.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets in a high-volume, transactional environment.
• Strong understanding of statistical concepts and the ability to go beyond basic reporting and aggregation.
• Demonstrated experience using data to influence or change business decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to validating analytical results.
• Experience automating recurring reporting or analytical workflows and measuring the resulting efficiency gains.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly and concisely.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
