Job summary

Superprof is seeking a dynamic Backend Developer with strong Python experience to build scalable backend services and APIs for our core platform in Rosario, Argentina.

You will integrate third-party services via REST and GraphQL, work with NoSQL and relational databases, deploy to AWS, and explore AI-based tooling to accelerate MVP creation. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• More than 4 years of experience in Python development.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency in Relational Databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with API integrations using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Strong communication skills in English (Advanced/Bilingual).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for our core application.
• Integrate third-party services using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Work with NoSQL and relational databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and query performance.
• Collaborate with the team on deploying services to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
• Suggest and experiment with AI-based tooling for rapid development and smart code generation.
• Bring fresh ideas and pragmatic solutions to enhance the backend architecture and development pipeline.
