Mpa Law is seeking a skilled Backend Developer with strong Python experience to build scalable backend services and APIs for our core platform. You will integrate REST/GraphQL, work with MongoDB, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, and collaborate on deploying services to AWS.

The role emphasizes rapid MVP delivery and practical use of AI-assisted tooling. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of Python development, solid database experience, and excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• More than 4 years of Python development experience.
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Experience with API integrations using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Strong English communication (Advanced/Bilingual).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs for the core application.
• Integrate third-party services using REST and/or GraphQL.
• Work with NoSQL and relational databases, ensuring efficient data modeling and query performance.
• Collaborate with the team on deploying services to AWS (Lambda, API Gateway).
• Suggest and experiment with AI-based tooling to speed up development and MVP creation.
• Contribute pragmatic improvements to backend architecture and CI/CD pipelines.
