Job summary

The Walt Disney Company, via Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology, seeks a Software Engineer (Fullstack) for Buenos Aires to build scalable backend services and responsive frontend for music supply chain platforms.

You will work in an agile team, with about 70% backend and 30% frontend, collaborating with data engineers, product managers, and operations to deliver end-to-end solutions across Disney's media ecosystem. English proficiency required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in SQL, relational databases, and data modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field; English proficiency required.
• Proficient in Java and JVM ecosystems; experience with Spring Boot and Spring frameworks.
• Proficient in React, modern state management, and frontend testing.
• Experience deploying containerized apps on AWS using Kubernetes and CI/CD practices.
• Experience designing and integrating APIs; knowledge of OAuth and access control.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, RDS, VPC, messaging) and data integration concepts.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka) and data streaming.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and Agile mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend and frontend components for end-to-end delivery in music supply chain platforms.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to enable robust data integration.
• Contribute to architectural direction and code reviews; mentor junior engineers.
• Implement features, write tests, and ensure robust deployment and monitoring.
