A global professional services firm in Buenos Aires is seeking an AV Support Specialist to monitor AV devices, respond to alerts, and support end users in resolving meeting room issues. The ideal candidate has 2 to 4 years of experience in supporting video conferencing technologies and solid communication skills. They will advocate for customers while understanding technology requirements, ensuring an exceptional meeting experience. This role is critical in facilitating effective collaboration and presentations across the firm.

This position will operate EY’s Global Audio & Visual Support Service. The AV support Specialist will proactively monitor AV devices, respond to monitoring alerts and provide L1/L2 end users support to resolve common Meeting Room issues. The role also provides guidance to the end users about Meeting Room peripherals queries and helps them experience for a smoothly running meeting. The opportunity EY’s dedicated AV Support Service plays a key role in the smooth management of meetings rooms, enabling a great experience for organizers, presenters, and attendees. These meetings are key enablers for EY’s purpose of building a better working world, and this position helps us realize the value of those meetings.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor AV devices and respond to monitoring alerts
• Provide L1 / L2 end‑user support to resolve common meeting room issues
• Provide guidance to end users about meeting room peripherals queries

Skills and attributes for success

• Team player who can advocate for customers while understanding the technology and compliance requirements of event and meeting platforms
• Approximately 2 to 4 years of experience working with or supporting video conferencing and collaboration technologies in large, complex environments
• Solid interpersonal skills to engage in cross‑business discussions within a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization and build a solid network of peers and others of influence. Uses these relationships to partner with colleagues based on technical expertise and challenges insightfully to improve connectivity and propose credible options in solutions
• Solid communication skills to adapt communication style to others, develop rapport, stay calm under pressure and build and maintain strong relationships across the levels of a matrixed, geographically dispersed organization using advanced oral and written English communication skills
• Analytical and problem‑solving ability appropriate to the role to escape and negotiate assigned issues in IT technical investigations, handle multiple and shifting priorities in a timely fashion across a broad spectrum of operating environments and drive solutions that are both financially sound and operationally feasible
• Advanced knowledge of the ServiceNow system to record incidents and remediation as well as appropriately use the tool’s features and functions
• Knowledge of ITIL fundamentals to recognize appropriate aspects in the Incident, Problem, Change and Availability processes as it relates to Data Network activities and workflows
• Passion for customer service

Education

Bachelor’s degree holder

Ideally, you’ll also have knowledge of, experience with or exposure to

• Knowledge in Video and Signalling standards & protocols
• Webex and Zoom
• Teams Admin centre
• Microsoft Teams
• AV device management consoles
• Some study toward the CTS certification
