OX Security seeks an Applications Security Researcher to join its Security Research group. The role focuses on building offensive security at scale, researching complex attack chains, and creating autonomous detection capabilities.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s in CS or Cyber Security and 5+ years in offensive/appsec, with strong Python/Go skills and cloud/Kubernetes experience. Collaboration with AI/data scientists is essential for production-ready security features.

Formación

• M.Sc. in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in offensive security or application security.
• Deep understanding of web/app vulnerabilities and multi-step attack chains.
• Strong coding skills in Python or Go; production-quality code.
• Experience with detection logic (SAST/DAST/SCA) and reducing false positives.
• Know-how of CI/CD, containers, Kubernetes, and at least one major cloud provider.
• Experience using AI models for security tasks and large data sets (SQL/BigQuery).
• Ability to take ideas from prototype to production and explain paths clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Research vulnerability chaining, business-logic flaws, and complex attack paths.
• Design and build detection engines and decision logic for autonomous security systems.
• Evaluate AI models for app sec use cases and measure performance.
• Prototype, build, and ship security capabilities into production environments.
• Analyze large-scale security data to uncover exploitable paths and improve detection.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data teams to shape features.
• Own initiatives end-to-end from idea to shipped capability.
