Job summary

indie Semiconductor in Córdoba, Argentina, is seeking a firmware developer for embedded systems in ADAS. You will design and verify firmware modules, collaborate with design teams, and support pre-silicon validation and customer demos.

The role focuses on top-level firmware, DSP optimization, and neural-network mapping to hardware accelerators, with opportunities to work across software and hardware teams in a fast-growing autonomous mobility environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of embedded firmware experience, including bring-up and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture principles: pipelining, memory hierarchy, interrupts, and ISA-level behavior.
• Excellent command of Embedded C and assembly for ISRs and bare-metal drivers.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT or similar) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design top-level simulation and FPGA test plans for system-level integration before tape-out.
• Collaborate with digital design engineers to integrate software with SoC accelerators for silicon bring-up.
• Profile neural-network models on hardware accelerators and translate metrics into efficient code.
• Develop and optimize DSP firmware for ADAS applications with performance profiling.
• Support customer-facing firmware customization and root-cause analysis with the application team.
• Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate implementation, testing, and debugging.
• Contribute to Git-based workflows, CI builds, regression, and bring-up tests.
