Gensler is seeking an Architectural Designer in Buenos Aires to support the Design Director in concept development and delivery across project phases.

You will collaborate with a diverse team of designers and strategists, participating in programming, design development, space planning, and coordination with external vendors to meet project objectives.

Formación

• Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or foreign equivalent.
• 5+ years of project experience in an architectural practice with interior workplace experience.
• Proficiency in REVIT, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Design Director and Senior Designer in creating and developing design concepts.
• Formulate design presentation strategies and lead design teams through all phases.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on varying project types and milestones.
• Produce plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections for construction.
• Contribute to client relations, budgets, schedules, and coordination with consultants.

As a Gensler Architectural Designer, you will support the Design Director in the creation and development of overall design concepts. You will collaborate with a diverse team of designers, architects, strategists, brand designers, and participate in all phases of the project.

What You Will Do

• Support the Design Director and Senior Designer in the creation and development of overall design concepts.
• Formulate design presentation strategies.
• Provide creative and process leadership to multiple design teams through all phases of the project.
• Work in a team environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on varying project types.
• Collaborate on all phases of the project including programming, project strategy, client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, consultant coordination, construction documents, construction administration, and management of budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate with all team members on the delivery of project milestones.
• Contribute to the production of plans, elevations, details, specifications, and material selections needed for construction.
• Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections.
• Provide design support and documentation during the completion and execution of design concepts.
• Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, contractors, fabricators, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
• Clearly communicate your design ideas to the project team.
• Participate and contribute to office and firm culture.
• Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
• Establish and maintain ongoing, productive client relationships.
• Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts a plus.
• Work in a synergistic manner with other design and professional staff.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture, Interior Architecture, or foreign equivalent
• 5+ years of project experience in an architectural practice with interior workplace experienice
• Proficiency in REVIT, Sketch Up, Photoshop, InDesign, and Microsoft office
• 100% bilingual English/Spanish, well written with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
• Construction documentation and/or design detail development experience
• Strong leadership, communications, and relationship management skills
• Ability to handle difficult situations with tact, grace, and emotional intelligence
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Has the ability to maintain existing client relationships and build new client relation
