AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams. You will build dashboards and reports, optimize SQL queries, and leverage AI coding tools to accelerate analytics.

The role requires strong SQL and Tableau skills, Python experience, and experience with data warehousing. Flexible with remote and office options, you will engage with customers and cross-functional teams to drive impactful decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience and ability to optimize queries.
• 3+ years Tableau development, including model maintenance or migration to Streamlit.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience using AI coding tools like Claude Code or Cursor across coding and analysis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of SQL development experience; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience, including hands-on experience maintaining existing Tableau models and/or migrating them to Streamlit.
• Prior hands-on Python development experience (prioritized over Snowflake where only one can be prioritized).
• Prior practical, hands-on experience using AI coding tools, specifically Claude Code or Cursor, across coding, SQL, analysis, testing, and research; familiarity or a willingness to learn alone is not sufficient, as these are the primary tools used by the team.
• Excel / Google Spreadsheets proficiency for running ad-hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Experience working in an environment that leverages remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, JIRA).
• Upper-intermediate English level.
