Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports, turning large datasets into strategic insights for senior leaders and product teams. You will own end-to-end BI work, covering data sources, modeling, analytics, and storytelling to drive business decisions.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment, leveraging SQL, Tableau, Python, and AI tools to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL development experience
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience
• Hands-on Python development experience
• Experience using Claude Code or Cursor AI tools
• Proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts
• Ability to maintain and validate data models and calculations
• Experience with remote collaboration tools (GitHub, Slack, JIRA)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to build dashboards and reports and turn large datasets into clear insights for senior leaders and product teams.

MUST HAVES

• 5+ years of SQL development experience ; experience writing and optimizing SQL queries across large datasets.
• 3+ years of Tableau development experience , including hands‑on experience maintaining existing Tableau models and/or migrating them to Streamlit.
• Prior hands‑on Python development experience (prioritized over Snowflake where only one can be prioritized).
• Prior practical, hands‑on experience using AI coding tools, specifically Claude Code or Cursor , across coding, SQL, analysis, testing, and research; familiarity or a willingness to learn alone is not sufficient, as these are the primary tools used by the team.
• Proficiency in Excel / Google Spreadsheets for running ad‑hoc analysis.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipeline concepts.
• Ability to maintain and validate existing data models and calculations to ensure accurate reporting.
• Experience working in an environment that leverages remote communication and collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, Slack, JIRA).

NICE TO HAVES

• 2+ years of Snowflake development experience.
