Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks an senior AI Product Leader to own product strategy, vision, and P&L across an AI-powered portfolio. You will guide investment decisions, drive cross-functional execution, and establish governance for responsible AI while elevating team competencies.

You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and design teams to ensure delivery excellence and strong ROI across multiple AI initiatives. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Product Management with a proven PM/PO leadership track record.
• Launched 3+ products including AI-powered capabilities.
• Spearheaded comprehensive vision, roadmaps, portfolio alignment, and P&L ownership.
• Financial modeling and ROI-based budgeting for prioritization.
• Deep domain expertise across multiple business areas with awareness of disruption and trends.
• AI literacy to guide technical proposals and investment decisions.
• Executive leadership shaping company strategy and KPIs.
• Proficiency in establishing operational frameworks for AI enablement and team coaching.
• Mastery of AI-driven portfolio strategy, investment decisions, and roadmapping.
• Knowledge of responsible AI governance including privacy, security, auditing, and regulatory standards.
• Experience evaluating AI prototypes, proposals, and experimental bets.
• Continued integration of AI tools into daily workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Product Managers running a portfolio that includes AI-powered products while taking full ownership of product strategy, vision, and P&L across the portfolio
• Formulate an AI-informed product strategy that identifies competitive advantages against commoditisation and sequences roadmaps according to technological advancements
• Drive build, buy, and partnership investment decisions for AI features, oversee business cases and ROI metrics, and manage experimentation funding
• Manage AI feature economics and lifecycle operations including cost tracking, latency optimization, pricing models, and model drift or vendor decisions
• Establish organizational standards, operating models, and review gates for AI feature development to ensure consistent quality and responsibility
• Oversee responsible AI governance protocols covering data privacy, algorithmic bias, security, transparency, human oversight, and regulatory compliance
• Elevate team AI competencies through targeted coaching, shared playbooks, prompt and agent libraries, and rigorous hiring standards
• Facilitate seamless cross-functional collaboration across engineering, data science, design, and machine learning teams while maintaining product accountability
• Represent the organization authoritatively on AI product strategy and roadmap initiatives with senior clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Product Management with a proven track record of managing product lines and leading PM or PO teams
• Successfully developed and launched 3 or more products to market including advanced AI-powered capabilities
• Demonstrated ownership of comprehensive product vision, strategic roadmaps, portfolio alignment, and P&L management
• Financial modeling and portfolio analysis expertise for prioritizing budgets based on ROI and evaluating AI business cases
• Deep subject matter expertise across multiple business domains with a sharp understanding of technological disruption and market trends
• Working AI literacy covering fundamental concepts, capabilities, and limitations to guide technical proposals and investment decisions
• Executive leadership capability in shaping company strategy, communicating complex directives to senior stakeholders, and driving key business KPIs
• Proficiency in setting operational frameworks for AI application and raising team performance through structured enablement and coaching
• Mastery of AI-driven portfolio strategy, investment decision-making, and roadmap sequencing
• Comprehensive knowledge of responsible AI governance including privacy, security, auditing, and regulatory standards such as the EU AI Act
• Expertise in managing AI feature economics, unit economics, infrastructure costs, and model lifecycle decisions
• Advanced skills in evaluating AI prototypes, technical proposals, and experimental bets
• Continued practical integration of AI tools into daily workflows to maintain adaptability as technology evolves
• Fluent English communication skills at a C1 level or higher ensuring effective cross-border collaboration
