Moburst is seeking an AI Operations & Solutions Engineer to join our Growth Labs team to oversee the technical integrity, deployment, and ongoing optimization of our proprietary AI-driven product suite.

You will bridge core development and final output, ensuring automated systems run at peak performance with zero friction, including content generation and lead acquisition components.

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on Python engineering experience
• Organized, deadline-driven, and meticulous about QA and tracking
• Experience leveraging AI coding tools and integrating APIs/webhooks
• Strong QA/testing, debugging, and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with Zapier, Make, or similar alongside Python scripts
• Portfolio or GitHub showcasing real projects, scripts, or tools
• Native or fluent English; must be based in South Africa

Responsabilidades

• Develop, script, and maintain internal AI products, tools, and automated workflows using Python and AI frameworks.
• Act as the technical operational anchor ensuring inputs, progress, and materials flow smoothly between departments.
• Perform end-to-end technical QA on tools, scripts, data pipelines, and AI outputs to ensure reliability.
• Connect internal tools, databases, and LLM APIs via Python to automate bottlenecks.
• Assist with minor ML components or data transformation as part of larger tool-building projects.

We are looking for a sharp AI Operations & Solutions Engineer to join our Growth Labs team and work closely with our Strategic Technology Product Lead to oversee the technical integrity, deployment, and ongoing optimization of our proprietary AI-driven product suite. You will act as the critical bridge between core development and final output, ensuring that our automated systems—ranging from content generation to lead acquisition tools—operate at peak performance with zero friction.

Responsibilities:

• Product & Tool Building: Develop, script, and maintain internal AI products, custom tools, and automated workflows primarily using Python and AI frameworks.
• Workflow & Process Execution: Act as the technical operational anchor - ensuring departments transfer necessary inputs on time, project deliverables progress smoothly, and missing materials are flagged proactively.
• Technical Quality Assurance (QA): Perform end-to-end technical QA on built products, scripts, data pipelines, and AI outputs to guarantee reliability and zero-defect execution.
• Integrations & Automations: Connect internal tools, databases, and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Cursor, etc.) via Python to automate manual operational bottlenecks.
• Light ML / Data Support: Assist with minor Machine Learning components or data transformation scripts when required as part of broader tool-building projects.

Requirements:

• Python Proficiency: Minimum 2 years of hands-on Python engineering experience writing clean, structured, and maintainable code.
• Operational Mindset: Exceptionally organized, process-driven, and meticulous about deadlines, QA, and project tracking.
• AI Tooling & API Experience: Proven experience leveraging AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot) and integrating APIs/webhooks into automated workflows.
• Technical QA & Problem Solving: Strong ability to test software tools, identify technical edge cases, debug code, and resolve execution bottlenecks.
• No-Code / Low-Code Integration: Familiarity with workflow tools (Zapier, Make, or similar) alongside custom Python scripts.
• Portfolio Requirement: Applicants MUST submit a portfolio or GitHub link demonstrating real projects, scripts, or tools built.
• Communication & Location: Native or fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be based in South Africa.
