About The Role

As an Aftermarket Service Representative, you’ll be the boots on the ground helping customers solve real‑world mechanical challenges. You’ll work with service departments, equipment managers, and fleet operators to sell repairs, components, and service solutions that add value and minimize downtime.

Your mechanical acumen and field experience will give you credibility with customers—and your sales drive will keep our service centers busy with high‑quality, high‑margin work.

This is a remote role, but the candidate must be located in the Southwest (preferably California or Arizona) to best be able to serve customers in their territory.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect, network, and grow your pipeline through cold calling, social media, site visits, and industry events.
  • Work hand‑in‑hand with service centers, dealers, and managers to secure aftermarket business that drives margin and satisfaction.
  • Connect with decision‑makers, build lasting relationships, and bring aftermarket business directly into our service centers.
  • Travel, attend trade shows, and showcase the cutting‑edge programs, engines, and services we offer.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customers get the right fit for their business and maximize value.
  • Keep your finger on the pulse of Palmer Johnson programs and services while logging all activity in Salesforce.
  • Present our company through engaging PowerPoints, facility tours, and online demos.
  • Assist with budget forecasting, customer credit terms, and overall territory strategy.
What You Bring
  • 3+ years of sales experience, ideally in a service sales, diesel repair, or industrial equipment environment.
  • Confident in cold and warm calling with a positive, solution‑focused attitude.
  • A natural relationship‑builder with excellent communication skills.
  • Mechanically inclined or familiar with diesel/engine service (a plus!).
  • Goal‑oriented, competitive, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Holds a valid driver’s license and is comfortable with regional travel.
