LSB Chemical L.L.C. seeks an Acid & Nitrates Operations Superintendent to lead safe, reliable nitric acid and ammonium nitrate operations at the El Dorado, AR site. The role oversees shift supervisors and engineers, drives process safety, and ensures compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

The position emphasizes operational excellence, risk reduction, and leadership development within a high-hazard chemical manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• 8–15 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or heavy industrial operations preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience supervising operations personnel.
• Strong working knowledge of nitric acid and/or ammonium nitrate processes preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure strict compliance with PSM, OSHA, EPA, and environmental permit requirements.
• Lead process safety risk reduction efforts including MOC reviews and PHAs.
• Drive a strong safety culture through field leadership and coaching.
• Deliver production targets while maintaining product quality specifications.
• Monitor KPIs including rates, efficiencies, environmental performance and reliability.
• Identify and eliminate operational constraints through root cause analysis.
• Lead or participate in maintenance coordination to improve reliability.
