Job summary

Gulf Craft Inc Company L.L.C. is hosting a Walk In Interview for the Carpenter position to support yacht interiors, furniture construction, and cabinet installation in Ajman, UAE.

Responsibilities include cutting, shaping, drilling, assembling wood components, reading technical drawings, and installing furniture and interior fittings according to design specifications. Minimum 4 years carpentry experience with marine/interior fit-out is preferred.

Qualifications

• Technical training or vocational certification in carpentry is preferred.
• Minimum 4–10 years of carpentry experience; yacht/marine interior exposure is an advantage.
• Experience in furniture making, cabinetry, and interior installation.
• Ability to read measurements, templates, and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform cutting, shaping, drilling, sanding, and assembly of wood and laminates.
• Manufacture and install yacht interior furniture, cabinets, doors, and panels.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, templates, and work instructions.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials with hand and power tools.
• Install and adjust furniture and interior fittings; finish joints for quality appearance.
• Carry out trimming and edge finishing to achieve a high-quality finish.

Job Purpose

To carry out carpentry, woodworking, cutting, assembly, and installation activities for

yacht and boat interiors, furniture, cabinetry, and other wooden components according

to technical drawings, design specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cutting, shaping, drilling, sanding, and assembly of wood, plywood, Teak wood, MDF, laminates, and other approved materials.
• Manufacture and install yacht interior furniture, cabinets, doors, panels, partitions, shelves, and decorative woodwork.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, measurements, templates, and work instructions.
• Measure, mark, cut, and assemble materials accurately using appropriate hand and power tools.
• Install and adjust furniture, cabinetry, flooring components, and interior fittings.
• Carry out trimming, edge finishing, sanding, and other finishing work to achieve a high-quality appearance.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Technical training or vocational certification in carpentry is preferred.
• Minimum 4-10 years of carpentry experience; yacht, boatbuilding, or marine interior experience is an advantage.
• Experience in furniture making, cabinetry, woodworking, and interior installation.
• Ability to read measurements, templates, and technical drawings.
