Job summary

An aviation maintenance company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced individual to assist the Engine Supervisor in conducting maintenance inspections and repairs on aircraft turbine engines. The role requires a FAA Power Plant license, completion of a turbine engine training course, and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Job description
Overview

Assist the Engine Supervisor to accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft turbine engines and components.

Will also be responsible for :

  1. Removes, replaces, services, prepares, preserves, cleans and stores engine assembles or components.
  2. Disassembles, repairs, resembles, adjusts, diagnose tests turbine engine systems, subsystems and components according to applicable manuals and directives.
  3. Assists in troubleshooting engines / engine components and rigging engine controls.
  4. Uses and performs user maintenance on common and special tools.
  5. Requisitions aircraft parts, and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft engine and components.
  6. Inspects and prepares forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
  7. Train host nation personnel on the proper maintenance of the engines and associated components and subsystems.
  8. Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.

  • High School.
  • Must have a Federal Aviation Administration Power Plant (P) license or equivalent.
  • Completion of a formal turbine engine training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.
  • Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) preferable.

  • Minimum of 5 Years Must have a minimum of 5 years working with aircraft engine relevant to aircraft platform and position.
