Assist the Engine Supervisor to accomplish aviation unit, and intermediate maintenance inspections, services, and repairs on all assigned aircraft turbine engines and components.
Will also be responsible for
- Removes, replaces, services, prepares, preserves, cleans and stores engine assembles or components.
- Disassembles repairs, resembles, adjusts, diagnose tests turbine engine systems, subsystems and components according to applicable manuals and directives.
- Assists in troubleshooting engines / engine components and rigging engine controls.
- Uses and performs user maintenance on common and special tools.
- Requisitions aircraft parts, and maintains shop and bench stock for repair of aircraft engine and components.
- Inspects and prepares forms and records in accordance with DA PAM 738-751.
- Train host national personnel on the proper maintenance of the engines and associated components and subsytems.
- Responsible for tools and equipment inventory assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification
- High School, Must have a Federal Aviation Administration Power Plant (P) license or equivalent.
- Completion of a formal turbine engine training course from an accredited military or civilian aeronautical school.
- Knowledgeable on The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) preferable.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 Years Must have a minimum of 5 years working with aircraft engine relevant to aircraft platform and position.
