A leading equipment services company in Sharjah is seeking a Workshop Supervisor for Lifting Equipment. You will oversee the maintenance and repair of various cranes and lifting devices, ensuring all operations comply with safety standards. The ideal candidate will supervise technicians, diagnose faults, and ensure quality inspections, playing a critical role in the machinery's functionality and safety.   • Supervise technicians working on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems of cranes.
  • Diagnose major faults and guide technicians on repair procedures.
  • Ensure proper inspection of booms, winches, wire ropes, outriggers, load indicators, and safety systems.
  • Assign jobs and monitor work progress and repair quality.
  • Develop repair estimates, parts lists, and job plans.
  • Perform functional tests after repair including load tests where applicable.
  • Ensure all safety devices such as LMI systems, limit switches, and alarms are functional.
  • Maintain accurate records for each crane.
  • Coordinate with the lifting division to prioritize jobs.
  • Follow up with stores for crane-specific spare parts.
  • Prepare daily job status reports.

Position Summary:

The Workshop Supervisor – Lifting Equipment oversees the maintenance, repair, inspection, and certification of all cranes including mobile cranes, crawler cranes, rough terrain cranes and lifting devices. The role ensures machines are repaired safely, efficiently, and according to lifting equipment standards.
