Job summary

Tanqeeb in Abu Dhabi seeks a Wireline Supervisor to oversee daily wireline operations across onshore sites. You will coordinate with Technical Support division, Central Control room, and field production supervisors to ensure safe, efficient execution of well interventions.

Responsibilities include supervising safety valves, reservoir monitoring programs, data acquisition, and reporting on well performance. Strong coordination and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plans daily operations in coordination with Technical Support division, Central Control room, Field production Supervisor, Test Vessel & Field maintenance support, to ensure daily activities are carried out efficiently, optimally and safely, without negative impact to production targets.
• Liaise with TSD Wireline supervisor onshore, for maintenance, Technical & logistical support from the contractor’s base.
• Liaise with Drilling rigs on daily basis for operational support and technical requirements.
• Regular Communication with Manager-TPO for work co-ordination.
• Regular Communication with CCR & logistics for activity scheduling.
• Regular Communication with Supervisors of all other field disciplines
• Supervises all Wireline operations as follow:
• Change and maintenance of all sub-surface safety valves.
• Managing and implementation of Field Reservoir monitoring survey programs
• Running of data acquisition tools, general well intervention and fishing etc. carried out by service companies in all type of wells
• Provide services and support to drilling rigs requirement and liaise with Site drilling section leader and / or senior well engineers to ensure provision of wireline service during completion and work over phases.
• Responds to requests for trouble-shooting problems such as fishing jobs, tubing perforation bottom-hole samples, Well performance investigations, andcommunication tests
• Analyses the causes of the problems and recommends appropriate remedial actions, and participates personally in tackling such problems.
• Arranges fortravel / transfer of service companies personnel, Wireline tools and equipmentsuchas:- Safety valves, safety plugs, wireline spools, wireline units, drums , power packs, betweenAbu Dhabi,Mussafah andoffshore locations.Liaises with materialssupervisor (fields) and provides service companies with Wireline tools and updates stock-holdings accordingly, and recommends to supervisors the supply of special tools and equipment.
• Liaises with TSD asset supervisor onshore for the maintenance, purchase, repair services and modification operationsof Wireline tools and equipment at contractors’ workshop.
• Maintains and updates a variety of critical records such as wells time lapse history, Wireline equipment, data archiving and performance of Wireline contractors.
• Performs other related duties such as preparing monthly statistical analysis of wireline operations, preparing contractors invoices and allocations. writes and Issues technical reports and opinions on Wells matters related to integrity and production issues.
• Conducts induction familiarizations, and arranges training courses for new and refresher candidates.
• Implements and reviews DHSV tests and change out programs for all types of Wells and ensures adequatesupply of valves in circulation.
• Prepares the technical aspects of slick line intervention programs as proposed by Production, Reservoir, Well Integrity and drilling departments.
• Prepares and Issues monthly achievement reports.
