Job summary

Baker Hughes in Dubai is seeking a Services Specialist - Wireline to execute wireline operations in line with technical programs, safety standards (HSE) and customer requirements. You will ensure tools are fit-for-job before deployment and that equipment is maintained and handed over after operations.

The role requires hands-on Sondex tool experience, a technical diploma or degree, and the ability to report job activities and tool status using field systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–6 years of wireline field operations experience.
• Experience deploying downhole tools at wellsite.
• Hands-on Sondex tool experience preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics.
• Basic SAP exposure for equipment tracking and documentation.
• Proficiency in reporting activities and tool status using field systems.
• Strong field discipline and safety mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure in remote/rig environments.
• Team player with good communication at wellsite.
• Hands-on problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

• Executing wireline operations in line with technical program, safety standards (HSE) and customer requirements
• Ensuring tools are fit-for-job before deploymen and equipment is properly maintained and handed over after operations
• Performing tool preparation, assembly, and function testing, and Real-time operational support during jobs
• Supporting equipment readiness through proper usage and car maintenance team by identifying issues early
• Maintaining accurate job reports and equipment status updates
