Job summary

Amazon seeks a Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to support the UAE vendor accommodation audit program and protect worker welfare.

You will conduct planned and ad-hoc audits across UAE sites, document findings, develop corrective actions, monitor remediation, and report on compliance metrics. The role requires travel and a bachelor’s in OH&S or related field; NEBOSH/IOSH is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering or related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in workplace health and safety compliance auditing.
• Willingness to travel across UAE and hold a valid UAE driving license or be willing to obtain one.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Experience in data analysis and metrics reporting to support compliance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Conduct planned and ad-hoc accommodation audits across UAE vendor sites.
• Document audit findings, raise escalation tickets and develop Corrective Action Plans with vendors.
• Track vendor remediation progress and escalate non-responsive vendors to senior stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze compliance metrics, create reports, and identify trends requiring attention.
• Support ad-hoc audit requests triggered by safety incidents or regulatory changes.
