Aertec Solutions Sl. in Abu Dhabi, UAE, is seeking a Wet Utilities Engineer to plan, design and coordinate potable water, fire water, sewerage, stormwater, TSE and irrigation networks for airport and infrastructure projects.

The role covers all design stages from feasibility to detailed design, including utility conflict resolution, authority submissions and follow-up, and requires hands-on modelling with WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD, AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in wet utilities design in the UAE.
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority and utility provider standards and approval procedures.
• Hands-on experience in hydraulic modelling (WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, StormCAD or similar).
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Able to prepare calculations, reports and quantities with limited supervision.
• Good written and spoken English.

Mansioni

• Design potable water, fire water, sewerage, stormwater, TSE and irrigation networks.
• Prepare water and wastewater demand calculations and stormwater runoff calculations.
• Carry out hydraulic analysis and network sizing for gravity and pressure systems.
• Prepare concept and detailed design of pumping stations, tanks and related structures.
• Prepare network layouts, longitudinal profiles, typical sections and standard details.
• Prepare quantities and bills of quantities (BOQ) and support cost estimates.
• Prepare design basis reports, calculation reports and technical specifications.
• Coordinate utility surveys and trial pits and review results.
• Identify existing utilities affected by new works and propose diversion/relocation solutions.
• Coordinate with Abu Dhabi authorities and utility providers to obtain approvals.
