Due to a strong pipeline of projects our Abu Dhabi team is rapidly growing and we are seeking an experienced Wet utilities Engineer to undertake an infrastructure project.

  • In this role you will work as part of an integrated multi-disciplinary team across a variety of infrastructure buildings transport and other project types. This role will see you involved in
  • will assist the Resident Engineer in administering the operational functions of the day-to-day activities on the project: participate in review and approval of all submittals by the contractors and involves in the quality control and quality assurance. Under the supervision of the RE or MEP Lead
  • performs routine inspection monitoring tasks to confirm if proper construction supervision is being performed by others.
  • Inspects various facets of work on the construction site and performs continuous surveillance of assigned construction activities to ensure compliance with all applicable codes standards and specifications.
  • Document non-conformance and may participate in determining appropriate resolution
  • Assisting the Resident Engineer in overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring adherence to project specifications and local regulations.
  • Reviewing and analyzing technical drawings specifications and other project documents.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and preparing detailed reports on project progress.
  • Collaborating with contractors subcontractors and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelines.
  • Monitoring and reporting on project budgets schedules and quality control measures.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations on construction sites.
  • Participating in project meetings and communicating effectively with team members and clients.
  • Assisting in the preparation of change orders contract modifications and other project documentation.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of sustainable construction practices.
What you will bring to the team
  • Degree in Civil Eng or equivalent.
  • Min of 10 years postgraduate experience and a min. of 7 years of similar work experience on large projects.
  • Regional experience is preferred.
  • Authority registration is preferred.
  • A professional who can manage and coordinate specialized activity discipline or team of moderate size and complexity.
  • UAE Driving License.
  • Good communications skill & relationship building.
  • Must have experience in Infrastructure projects.
