The role requires readiness to work extended hours, travel to remote sites, and operate in various weather conditions. A 6+ month experience in a similar role and basic English writing skills are required.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in all aspects of welding.
• Standard English reading and writing abilities.
• Physically capable to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Participating in on-site safety meetings.
• Maintaining tidiness of workspace.
• Helping welders to set up rigs and move them between spaces.
• Ensuring welders have required materials and tools (poles, grinding discs).
• Maintaining supply levels of materials and supplies.
• Packing and unloading vehicles.
• Reading and following welders' instructions to adjust equipment temperatures.
• Using barriers and mills to clean welds.
• Maintaining knowledge of different metals.
• Operating various devices and tools.
• Identifying safety hazards and following safety procedures.
