Job summary

Archirodon in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Welding QC Inspector to join the EPC quality controls team on a major project. The role reviews technical specs, drawings and BOQ to ensure materials, workmanship and testing meet welding/RTFI requirements.

The candidate will perform on-site verification, review welding specs, mix designs and ITPs, and has CSWIP 3.1 and ASNT Level II qualifications. Fluency in English, degree in Mechanical Engineering, and ADNOC or large-scale UAE/Gulf EPC experience are

Qualifications

• Verify on-site welding elements for compliance with procedures and project requirements.
• Participate in on-site receiving inspection of welding/RTFI materials.
• Prepare/review welding specifications, mix design and ITPs.
• Strong understanding of Welding Testing Standards.

What you will need to do:

• Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to welding/RTFI works.
• Performs verification inspection of work elements related to welding/RTFI works, to assure compliance with established procedures and Project’s specified requirements.
• Participates in on site receiving Inspection of welding/RTFI materials.
• Prepare, review of welding specification, mix design and ITPs.
• Strong understanding of Welding Testing Standards.

What you will need to have:

• Degree/Diploma in MechanicalEngineering from a recognized/reputed University.
• Experience in working on ADNOC projects or similar large-scale EPC projects in the UAE or Gulf region.
• CSWIP 3.1 Certified
• ASNT Level II - Radiography Test Film and Interpretation
• Minimum 5 yrs. of experience in O&G field
• Fluency in English
• Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office
