Job summary

Archirodon Group seeks a Welding QC Inspector to join a major Abu Dhabi EPC project. You will review welding/RTFI documentation, perform on-site inspections, and prepare ITPs, ensuring compliance with project standards.

Candidates should hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, CSWIP 3.1, ASNT Level II, and at least 5 years in Oil & Gas or large EPC environments in the UAE/Gulf. Proficiency in English and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• CSWIP 3.1 certification is required.
• ASNT Level II - Radiography Test Film and Interpretation is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas (O&G) projects or large EPC projects in UAE/Gulf region.
• Fluency in English; computer literacy including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Review welding/RTFI related specifications, drawings, and BOQ to determine quality criteria.
• Perform verification inspection of welding/RTFI elements to ensure compliance with procedures and project requirements.
• Participate in on-site receiving inspection of welding/RTFI materials.
• Prepare and review welding specifications, ITPs, and related documentation.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of Welding Testing Standards.

What you will need to do:

• Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to welding/RTFI works.
• Performs verification inspection of work elements related to welding/RTFI works, to assure compliance with established procedures and Project’s specified requirements.
• Participates in on site receiving Inspection of welding/RTFI materials.
• Prepare, review of welding specification, mix design and ITPs.
• Strong understanding of Welding Testing Standards.

What you will need to have:

• Degree/Diploma in MechanicalEngineering from a recognized/reputed University.
• Experience in working on ADNOC projects or similar large-scale EPC projects in the UAE or Gulf region.
• CSWIP 3.1 Certified
• ASNT Level II - Radiography Test Film and Interpretation
• Minimum 5 yrs. of experience in O&G field
• Fluency in English
• Computer literacy, proficient in computer skills including use of MS Office
