Job summary

Shanahan Engineering in the UAE seeks an experienced Senior Welding Inspector to lead welding inspection activities on a major project. You will ensure compliance with approved procedures and project specifications, coordinating with QA/QC teams and site subcontractors to uphold quality and safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years of relevant experience, IWE or CWE certification, deep knowledge of welding processes, and proven reporting and coordination skills, including UAE project

Shanahan Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Welding Inspector for an immediate assignment in the UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing welding inspection activities, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved procedures and project specifications.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 12 years relevant experience.
• IWE or CWE certification
• Strong Knowledge of welding processes, inspection procedures.
• Previous UAE Project experience high advantageous
• Strong reporting, quality and technical coordination skills.

Minimum 6 month contract but up to 1 year - immediate mobilisation.
