Job summary

Flyper in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Welder to join the team and fabricate welded components to customer specifications. The role requires reading drawings, setting up welding equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met on all projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of welding experience, good eye-hand coordination, and the stamina to perform physically demanding tasks in a busy workshop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Welder or similar role.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately.
• Knowledge of welding equipment and tools.
• Ability to work with precision instruments.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.
• Good eye-hand coordination.
• Attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and strength.

Responsibilities

• Weld components and assemblies according to customer requirements and quality standards.
• Read and interpret drawings, sketches and specifications; select welding techniques; identify materials; set up machines.
• Inspect parts for flaws and maintain a clean work area.
