Job summary

Woopel in Umm-al-Qaiwain seeks a Welder to join our fabrication team. You will weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic methods and read blueprints to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate has experience with TIG, MIG or plasma cutting, a solid understanding of quality control, and the ability to work independently or with colleagues. Shifts may be required and lifting up to 25 kg is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder or relevant role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or welding diagrams.
• Knowledge of TIG, MIG and plasma cutting techniques.
• Understanding of quality control principles.
• Ability to lift heavy items up to 25 kg; attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
• Willingness to work in shifts; foreigners considered.

Responsibilities
