Welder Vacancy - El-Fujairah

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in El-Fujairah. This position offers a competitive salary of 1100 and is open to foreign applicants.

Job Description:
As a Welder, you will be responsible for welding components in flat, vertical or overhead positions using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment. You will be required to perform tasks such as inspecting workpieces for defects and measuring workpieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. In addition, you will also be responsible for tacking components together and performing other related tasks as needed.

Responsibilities:
-Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
-Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws)
-Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux cored arc welding (FCAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) etc.
-Inspect completed workpieces for accuracy and make adjustments as necessary
-Maintain equipment in proper working order according to safety regulations
Qualifications & Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent certificate/diploma from a technical school
-2+ years of experience in a similar role
-Demonstrable experience using various types of manual and automatic welding equipment
-Knowledge of safety regulations when operating manual and automatic equipment
-Ability to read blueprints, sketches, and product specifications
