Job summary

CNTXT AI in Abu Dhabi (on-site) is seeking a hands-on Hardware Tech Lead to own the hardware end-to-end for egocentric capture and wearable sensors. You will specify capture hardware, manage vendors, and design hardware IP while guiding engineers and contractors.

You will review schematics, develop firmware for sensor capture, ensure timing precision, power budgeting and reliability, and mentor the hardware team as CNTXT scales.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in mixed-signal schematic design and power topology.
• Proven ability to take hardware from concept to mass production.
• Experience with ODMs/contract manufacturers internationally.
• Ability to lead hardware design reviews and mentor engineers.
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Computer Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define hardware requirements and architecture for egocentric capture suite.
• Evaluate and manage hardware vendors and manufacturing partners.
• Develop and review schematics, PCB layouts and firmware.
• Lead hardware lab setup, testing, calibration, and QA.
• Drive IP creation and patentable ideas.
