Job summary

The Greater Change in Dubai is seeking an experienced IoT & Wearables Integration Engineer to architect and implement data pipelines from wearables and health APIs, and to integrate multi-sensor spatial sensing for a next-generation agentic smart home.

You will lead edge computing implementations, collaborate with hardware and AI teams, and translate biometric signals into actionable triggers for home automation, all in an on-site Dubai setting.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering experience in IoT, wearable data integration or ambient computing ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of REST APIs, Webhooks, GraphQL and SDKs for health platforms such as Apple HealthKit, Google Health Connect, Oura and Whoop.
• Experience with room-level tracking technologies: BLE triangulation/AoA/RSSI filtering, Wi-Fi CSI sensing or UWB.
• Strong grasp of low-power wireless protocols (BLE, Zigbee, Z-Wave, Thread, Matter) and real-time data transport (MQTT, WebSockets, gRPC).
• Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Rust or TypeScript/Node.js.
• Experience with edge gateways (Raspberry Pi, NVIDIA Jetson, ESP32) and computer vision frameworks (OpenCV, MediaPipe).

Responsibilities

• Wearable & Health Platform Data Pipelines: design, maintain API/SDK integrations with major wearables and health platforms.
• Micro-Location & Spatial Sensing: architect ambient presence systems using BLE, Wi-Fi/CSI and UWB for hyper-local room tracking.
• Agentic Home Integration & Automation: translate biometric signals into actionable triggers for home automation via MQTT/WebSockets/gRPC.
