Job summary

Parsons in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Principal Engineer (Water and Wastewater) to lead complex design and project delivery for water networks and treatment facilities in the Gulf region.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree with a Master’s in water discipline, extensive UAE/GCC experience, and capability to manage design teams and coordinate with authorities such as DEWA and ADDC.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Civil Engineering and a master's in water-related discipline; 15–20 years of related experience.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE/GCC experience.
• Professional qualifications (PE, CIWEM or ICE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering and design tasks for water/wastewater projects.
• Lead design teams of engineers, hydraulic modelers, and draftsmen.
• Produce and review specifications, data sheets, and construction documents.
• Oversee CAD tasks and 3D modeling using Bentley/InfoSWMM tools.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA/ADWEA and Gulf regulations.
