Job summary

Qureos is seeking a PLC & SCADA Engineer to design, program, test, commission, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for water and wastewater plants in the UAE. You will integrate instrumentation, electrical systems, VFDs and field devices to ensure reliable plant operation and compliance with project specs.

The role includes designing PLCs, configuring SCADA/HMI, and coordinating with electrical and mechanical teams during installation, commissioning, and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in automation, electrical, instrumentation or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in industrial automation.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Water or Wastewater Treatment projects.

Responsibilities

• Design PLC control systems for water and wastewater treatment plants.
• Develop PLC software in accordance with project specifications and FDS.
• Design and configure SCADA and HMI applications for plant monitoring and control.
• Prepare control philosophies, I/O lists, network architecture, and automation documentation.
• Review P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control panel drawings.
• Develop graphical SCADA screens and configure alarms and history logging.
• Perform FAT and SAT, and commission PLC and SCADA systems at site.
• Coordinate with electrical and mechanical teams during installation and commissioning.
