About the Role

As Water Quality Technician 3, you will help maintain the appearance, cleanliness and water quality of aquatic facilities throughout the Atlantis property. Daily responsibilities include preparing pools for use, performing cleaning and sanitation activities, carrying out water analysis and safety inspections, and identifying maintenance issues that require further attention.

Pool and Water Feature Operations

• Prepare swimming pools for recreational swimmers and swim team activities.
• Unlock pool areas and remove pool covers when required.
• Vacuum pools and maintain surrounding decks.
• Flush pool gutters as part of routine maintenance.
• Wash, scrub and disinfect pool areas.
• Clean and polish metalwork and pool accessories.
• Remove debris from pools and surrounding areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of water features and waterpark areas.
• Support other water quality tasks assigned by supervisors.

Water Quality and Safety

• Perform required water analysis.
• Conduct daily safety inspections.
• Monitor pool environments to ensure they remain safe for general use.
• Identify visible safety or maintenance concerns and report them promptly.
• Maintain aquatic areas according to established cleanliness and operational requirements.

Facilities Inspection and Upkeep

The role includes maintaining the cleanliness of mechanical rooms, storage rooms, electrical rooms and boiler rooms associated with aquatic operations. You will also inspect the basic operation of plumbing and lighting systems and report any identified damage or malfunction for corrective action.

About You

Candidates should have one to three years of experience within a five-star hotel environment. Previous experience in water theme parks or facility management services is desirable. Strong English communication skills are required. Candidates must be able to swim and should be comfortable working flexible schedules, including day and night shifts, according to operational requirements. Certified Pool Operator credentials are desirable. Candidates who do not already hold the certification must be prepared to complete it within the probationary period.
