Job summary

Miral Experiences is seeking an ALSS Manager to oversee Water Quality/ALSS in the Zoological department, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe, efficient operation of life support systems across the park. You will lead maintenance planning, budget management, and training to keep critical systems reliable.

Qualifications

• 7 years in aquatic life support systems in zoo/aquarium/oceanarium
• 3 years in a leadership role
• 3 years in cross-department projects
• Fluent English communications, verbal and written
• Ability to read blueprints and diagrams
• Strong budgeting and procurement awareness
• Maintenance data analysis and reporting

Responsibilities

• Oversee ALSS operations and water treatment facilities including software/hardware
• Lead long-term planning of maintenance equipment, inspections and repairs
• Develop and enforce ALSS SOPs, checklists and forms
• Manage budget planning and cost controls for the section
• Coordinate training and certification for team members
• Collaborate with Animal Habitats and other departments
• Participate in facility design reviews and third-party inspections
