Job summary

Miral Experiences is seeking a Water Quality Senior Technician (ALSS Senior Technician) to perform routine inspections and maintenance of life support systems, focusing on water tests, data recording, and safe handling of chemicals. The role supports animal health and guest safety across Abu Dhabi's attractions.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting ALSS equipment, operating systems per SOP, and maintaining documentation while working in shifts that may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in Aquatic Life Support Systems, Wastewater Treatment or Recreational Swimming Pool setting.
• Basic English communication skills, written/verbal.
• Basic knowledge in all basic mathematical applications.
• Working knowledge of basic hand tools and measuring devices in a related field.
• Basic mechanical/technical troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read and understand drawings and schematic diagrams in a related field of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine inspections and maintenance services such as water tests and analysis, preventive and corrective maintenance in a related field.
• Records accurate data of activities by completing the ALSS checklists and other documents.
• Ensures all life support systems are operating within environmental regulations and permit conditions; maintains water quality for the health of animals, mammals, fish, and humans.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairs of ALSS equipment and facilities.
• Operates the Life Support System in accordance with ALSS SOP and manual.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of all chemical drums, storage areas and workstations.
• Utilizes safe handling, usage, storage, and disposal practices for chemicals and hazardous waste.
• Maintains inventory and reports missing items for replenishment.
• Completes required training and maintains professional development.
• Performs other duties as directed by ALSS leadership.
