Job summary

Atlantis, The Palm is seeking a Water Quality Technician 1 to support daily operations of the Water Quality Department, focusing on the upkeep and safe operation of pools, water features, and rides. You will assist with scheduling, contractor coordination, and incident investigations to ensure guest safety and exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical trade is required.
• Experience coordinating and executing minor projects is essential.
• Proven experience in waterpark maintenance and life support systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Water Quality team with daily operations and inspections of pools, water park pools, slides and water features.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance, cleaning, and improvements to keep facilities safe and presentable.
• Supervise technicians and contractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to standards.
• Ensure regular water quality testing and reporting; maintain records in compliance with health and safety requirements.
• Support training, scheduling, and performance reviews within the department.
