Tanqeeb is seeking a diligent Laundry Technician to join our facilities in Dubai. You will sort garments, operate washers and related machines, manage chemicals, and ensure items are cleaned to spec while maintaining safety standards.

The role emphasizes physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in warm, humid environments. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be capable of handling heavy loads and daily maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift heavy loads of laundry.
• Good eyesight and color perception to identify stains and fabric issues.
• Knowledge of safety rules when handling hot water, steam, and industrial chemicals

Responsibilities

• Sorting items by color, fabric type, dirt level, and required cleaning method.
• Loading and unloading items into washers, extractors, or dryers and removing them when finished.
• Chemical management: add precise amounts of water, soap, detergents, bleach, or other chemicals as needed.
• Machine operation: set and monitor wash cycles, water temperatures, steam valves, and rotation speeds.
• Quality check & pre-treatment: spot-clean stains or pre-soak delicate items before the main wash.
• Maintenance: clean equipment, lubricate moving parts, and perform basic troubleshooting or minor repairs
